Maxime's Restaurant and Lounge

I recently booked with Maxime's for my best friend's bachelorette. I will start off that the booking process was very good and easy; the lady had a very nice phone tone. When the big day came for bachelorette, I was very pleased that they were accommodating to adding one more extra person to my reservation. The restaurant was very busy and the waiter we had did mention that, but maybe they were also short staffed because the pauses in between ordering and food were a bit too long. The waiter we had was very nice. The down side to why I am rating this restaurant low is because my best friend (and the bride to be) steak was not made correctly like she wanted. Maxime's did try to fix the issue and gave her another steak made correctly to take with her back to the hotel because we were all paying up and ready to go. For my food I ordered the orange pickerel. The pickerel was cooked very good but the sauce wasn't fantastic. The fries were good but the steamed vegetables were just too plain that I couldn't finish them. The next day my best friend left the steak in the hotel fridge and did not take it home because she describe that even the steak itself did not taste fantastic; meaning the cut could be better. Overall, I felt that I shouldn't had to pay for my best friend's dish. Maxime's restaurant is pretty expensive, so the expensive dishes should of been fantastic that I want to come back, but I will not be coming back to this restaurant. This was my first time and my best friend's first time to Maxime's, so it was not a good first impression especially on a special occasion! I booked with Maxime's originally because I was looking for a fancy restaurant for my best friend's bachelorette. The interior decor of the restaurant is fancy I give them that. I also saw the good reviews and good ratings for the restaurant which was another reason why I booked with Maxime's. Also, everybody at my table was looking forward to the Saturday drink special which was Long Islands but you can only get drinks specials in the lounge area. The weekly specials should be offered as well in the dining area as some groups prefer the dining area over the lounge area.

My family and I dined at Maximes on Saturday and we were blown away with how amazing it was! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! We had the prime rib dinner and our mom had the fish. Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We loved the upscale atmosphere as well. We will definitely be returning!
