OMG! What can I say, our circumstance was not cut and paste, so as a a self-employed healthcare worker my spouse and I were actually turned down by a mortgage broker who felt we would not be able to get a mortgage, then we get introduced to a miracle and a blessing called Shakila Fernandez who patiently worked with us literarily night and day to get our mortgage approved. As first time home buyers, she taught us so much about the process and was there to answer all our questions even the most silliest ones.
