Kings Transfer

SCAMMERS!! Young friend of mine hired them yesterday for 3 men including movers for just load. We agreed $169 for an hour. It took them about an hour and half tops. When they brought the stuff to the new building they said the total amount is over $900. They even charged my friend a mattress cover they put it on their own and no one asked them to. when she said she can't pay that coz the agreement wasn't that amount, they threatened that they will throw all the stuff outside and fragile things will break which is more than $900. I WOULD NEVER REOMMEND THESE PEOPLE. They took advantage of a young girl who was alone and was forced to pay or find the consequences.

Humphrey, We would like to express how Thankful we are to have your 3 employees move us. Kent, Matt and Brett were so professional, friendly and respectful! When they first arrived to our home in Ste. Anne, they each took their turn to shake Dons hand and introduce themselves. He knew immediately that we had hired the right moving company. They took such great care of all our belongings, wrapping them so carefully and unloading them in the exact the way. It all went so smoothly. My girlfriend was over and we all had so many laughs. These 3 guys were funny, yet got the job done perfectly. We find this is such an important characteristic. The fact that they were so down to earth and made this stressful day fun. We all had pizza after the move and they felt like family. Its all about how employees treat their customers and they.by far.were AMAZING! Great Customer Service is hard to find these days. Humphrey, you were so attentive from our first email to inquire about movers, right to the end. You quickly answered every question we had. Thank you! Very happy with my experience with Kings Transfer. My initial contact with Jill was terrific. She explained everything I needed to know and provided me with a contract quickly. She was also able to get my move booked within a couple of days. I was thankful for that as I was on a tight timeline. I was contacted by dispatch as promised the day before to advise of the move time and confirm details. The move team of Kent, Cain and Franco were very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. They prepped both move areas with runners and all handled all items carefully. Doors were needed to be removed at both locations to accommodate the items, but all was reassembled to original. A freezer lid also needed to come off as it was too big for the doorway. Disassembly and reassembly was executed perfectly. Paperwork to finalize the job was handled by Kent quickly and he explained all the details. The cost and time was exactly as I expected. Thank you! Great job! I wouldnt hesitate to call on Kings Transfer again for a future moving job!

Very disappointed in this company. I requested a quote and the 1st one was very low compared to when I moved north. I explained to the sales guy that I felt the quote was to low. Over the phone I went through room by room explaining to him item by item and he sent me a second quote that seemed to be in line with what I had expected. A few days before I requested I needed packers. At the end of the day they charged me double the 2nd quote. At this point they had me where they wanted me as they don't unload until I produced a bank draft for the amount that was double the quote. On top of all this I am finding broken and damaged items. The guys were pleasant to work with but paying $26,000 plus to move a single household is absolutely insane.
