Congress Of Black Women of Manitoba

This organization claims to be a "registered charity" providing scholarship for young women pursuing higher education, but they're not. The leadership is arrogant and terrible. The organization is poorly run, mismanaged and consistently fails to fulfill their professed mandate and fiduciary duties. In short they do more harm to the black community than good. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Excellent women, extremely hard working. I was a scholarship recipient and it is an amazing organization! As a black woman, I feel uplifted by their events and meetings. I will definitely be volunteering more of my time with this organization.

I am a new member of the Congress of Black Women. My experience has been that this is a lovely group of women who are focused on sisterhood, fellowship, and uplifting black women in Manitoba. They also offer a scholarship to support post secondary students.

This is an amazing organization! Helped many young ladies in the Winnipeg community. Very resourceful with excellent leadership. Keep the good work up !

COBW is a community organization that enhances the personal growth and development of black women and girls in Manitoba. I served as the Director of Programming and I enjoyed my time working on the board. Their events, meetings and workshops fostered a positive networking and learning environment for all attendees.
