Windsor Park Outdoor Pool

Always a nice experience getting to cool off on a hot day. This pool has free admission because it is unheated. Don't let that scare you off, it's plenty comfortable to swim in. I can't speak to the experience of bringing kids here, but many families appear to be happily enjoying themselves too. It always feels safe here with the city's well trained life guards. The one big downside to this location: no diving board. You can dive off of the edge of the pool deck in the deep end, but that's it. So whether you're looking to do some cannonballs, practice your swimming technique or simply float on your back most of the afternoon, this pool is just that and nothing more.

Free entry for all! Always Very Nice staff and clean pool area. Spacious shallow end of 1 metre deep. Deep end is not very big. Not heated so not too crowded except on very hot days. Lots of space to sit along the fence edges. Expect groups of loud obnoxious teens in the later afternoons to closing time - but whatever! Nearby community centre with play structure. Circle K 5 mins away for a slurpee after!
