This is a special spot that I have been coming to for the past ten years. It is a great place for when you are feeling contemplative and want to interact with nature despite being in the middle of the city. There are often beavers, geese, deer, and sometimes raccoons! I once saw a group of 20+ pelicans swim by right against the river's bank, which is a great example of how there is always something beautiful and unique to see here. The large, old trees provide shade and atmospheric sounds to calm you and remind you that we are all growing. By far my favourite place in Winnipeg.

A small park with a couple benches, a view of the river, and a little bit of space. You can see into the Twelve Tribes backyard pretty well, which feels a little invasive.
