I was very impressed with Kurt's knowledge and how he was able to identify and isolate where my range of mobility is lacking. During my assessment, Kurt walked me through some stretches and techniques that I've never seen before. This lead to me being able to increase my range of motion in my ankles and legs. Kurt went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable while also pushing me to move outside of my comfort zone. It was great training in his private gym rather than in a big commercial gym. I would recommend Kurt Wood to anyone that has muscle/joint pain, or for anyone looking for guidance in achieving their fitness and nutritional goals.

I had 8 sessions with Kurt. He listened to my fitness goals and assessed my range of motion before designing a workout plan to develop the necessary strength and mobility to achieve these objectives. My goals were to improve my running and cross country skiing, but most importantly to improve my strength and movements regarding the lifting and carrying involved in back country canoe tripping. Each session was crafted to help me understand the importance and objective of the individual exercise as well as the intricacies of the movements involved. This was very helpful because details can be essential, especially when we get somewhat chronologically advanced. The sessions with Kurt were educational in a way that I could not get from another source and are already paying dividends. I have a much better understanding of my strengths and areas to work on, as well as a set of stretches and exercises to improve my overall health - as well as the specific goals. I highly recommend Kurt and am glad that I had sessions with his expertise.

As I prepare for the 2023 BMO Vancouver International Marathon with the goal of obtaining elite status, I really dont have time to piss around. Kurt is simply one of the few people I would trust to address any physical problems I encounter during my training. The maintenance program he designed for me has actually improved my running and my 53 yr old body feels younger. I strongly recommend Kurt for anyone who is active and wants to stay active.
