Have been told my puppy is too rough for daycare at 3 months old, was warned on her behaviour that if it persists she would be banned. Took a break from Happy tails and went to 3 other doggy daycares over the last 6 months, to which I've been told she's great and hasn't been a problem at all. Returned to happy tails this past week, and was warned on 2 out of 3 days that she was behaving poorly and would be banned. Upon picking her up on her 3rd day, she had a cut on her ear that I wasn't informed about. Other daycares that I bring her too do training as well and have nothing but good things to say about her. In my opinion, Happy tails books and receives as many dogs as possible to make a good profit as a business should, but does not take necessary steps to insure proper supervision and care. Will not be returning. Have spoken to other daycares, and unfortunately they've heard similar stories.

Please read this before attempting dog boarding at Happy tail. That's my opinion, if you're planning dog boarding for the first time and you need it urgently. In addition, your dog is inherently nervous, yet not aggressive. You shouldn't rely on Happy Tail. Here is my awful experience: We read all the reviews and we wanted our dog to have an excellent stay when we go for 6 days vacation. We approached Happy tail and followed all the instructions given including below. 1-6 Nights requires minimum 8 hours of daycare with a meal to try in the kennel. We connected with Happy tail staff and explained our dog boarding needs. The staff except One person was extremely helpful. We received written comments that correctly declared dog was nervous, but friendly with other dogs and will need a few power hours to make dog feel more at ease. We continue bringing the dog for power hours to the facility as advised. Finally the day came when we were suggested to keep our dog for a half day. We agreed on it. Nearly picking up time. We called to make sure the dog was okay. During the call we made, Happy Tail's staff has clearly indicated that the dog is well. As a result of this feedback, we have requested, can we extend the stay for a full day? The staff said yes and extended the timeframe. At the end of the day, when we walked into the facility and asked for everything was all right. As we wish to book a luxurious condo for 6 nights. We already fulfilled the requiment as per the website stated. However the staff said that your dog was nervous and that we need to return to power hour. Refused to show us notes. We explained we need to leave next week and we fullfilled the requirment as per the website. But the staff on duty that day refused and said I will ask owner to call you. After one day, we recieved a call. After 3 phone rings person disconnted and left no voice mail for us to return the call. We googled the number and thats how we understood it was Happy tail. The next day my husband called Happy tail and they completely refused to take my dog. We drove 45 minutes one way every time with two toddlers to drop our dog off at the day care. We spent a lot of money. Happy Tail refused us and now we have no place to leave our dog behind.

Horrible management. They asked for a power hr, we did 4, moved slowly into a full day. Met all the requirements on the website that are nedded for a 6 day stay n they kept saying he isn't doing well enough just because he's a nervous dog. They were supposed to have the owner call us they failed to do that n the manager was being very rude and unhelpful even though from day 1 we stated we nedded the luxury room for 6 days. Kept pushing it back when it wasnt nedded. Maby its good for the dogs in the back but be cautious of the 1 guy working up front very poor service.
