Had to put down my dog last week. All of the staff there were great except for Dr Kovacs. The insensitivity she showed right before she put our dog down was unacceptable. Laughed in her face and told her shes going down eventually when she couldnt get her on to her side to put the needle in. Since then, Ive talked to a number of people about how disappointed I was with that, and have come across 5 other people who have had issues with Dr Kovacs, 2 of which left Crestview vet, when she was there, because of her

July 12 2022 The positive reviews of Catrysse Veterinary Clinic date from the days of Dr. Noel Catrysse and his excellent team. The negative reviews reflect the current owners. Responses to negative reviews have been on the order of I-was-unaware-of-a-problem and just-doing-my-job, attempting to put the client in the wrong. This appears to be the current business model the customer is always wrong. There is no excuse for what happened to us yesterday. We two elderly people, clients of Noel Catrysse for about 40 years, made an appointment and answered all the questions pertinent to bringing about a dignified end to the long life of our suffering pet. Well Ms Kovacs you certainly kicked that out the window! After keeping us waiting long after our appointed time, you met us very briefly, suggested pain killers for the luxating patellas, and failed to do any examination apart from telling me to put my blind, deaf, shaking dog down on the floor. You glanced at the 2.3 kg chihuahua, said looks fine to me and stormed out of the room, narrowly missing kicking your patient on the way, as I exclaimed, she cant see you. You narrowly missed knocking me over as well as I snatched her up. Your attitude toward us, your clients, was disrespectful and dismissive in the extreme, avoiding eye contact and discounting anything we said practically before we finished speaking . You proceeded to send a third party to tell us that since we refused to allow the dog to be examined, you refused to perform the euthanasia. That was a big fat lie. We did not refuse. We were shocked and outraged that a professional person should lie so blatantly. The third party left, returned, and informed us that Ms Kovacs was concerned about her professional standing if she was to euthanize a perfectly healthy animal. There can be no claim of being unaware of a problem as two elderly adults left your premises in tears and sat sobbing in their vehicle trying to decide how to find a vet to help them. Like many of your other dissatisfied customers, we came to you in good faith requesting your professional expertise for the benefit of our pet, and you bullied us shamelessly and refused to help. That is not just-doing-your-job; in fact, it is the complete opposite. You behaved cruelly and callously no caring and compassion at all, for the pet or the owners. I would be mortified if any child or grandchild of mine treated any person so disrespectfully; I hope your mother is proud. If you possess such an elevated position in your own esteem, you would be better off in a profession that does not interact with the public, unless of course you enjoy hurting people. You managed to maintain a smirk during our brief interchange, so perhaps bullying people appeals to you. Our visit to Catrysse Veterinary clinic was a nightmare and I would advise everyone else to steer clear.

i wish i could give this place 100 stars!! The staff and manager were so lovely and made our visit as stress free as possible!! I was referred by a friend to the clinic which got me $25 off my first visit with my puppy!! I couldn't thank the team enough!!
