Have had Vern's more then a few times but had to drive across the city to get it, not anymore, its literally down the street now, this is the second time we have been to the new location, first was just when it opened to get some slices, which they were kind enough to make us some, this time however, my husband wanted some slices last saturday night for dinner, I thought I should call just incase, was told they dont have any and wouldnt make any....OK, which was weird, because we would of bought half the pizza... but no, so we ended up ordering a 15 inch T-Rex for pick up with some deep fried pickles...picked it up, no problem, get it home, still kind of warm but not HOT HOT. Opened the pickles, they gave me 4 pickles and a tiny piece of one....well I paid for 5...sauce with the pickles was gross...the pizza though, was alright, very little sauce and I feel like alot less meat then there used to be and the crust was just blah, no crispiness at all, the bottom was soggy, like soggy soggy, it was falling apart in my hands, it just was kind of tasteless. Ive had better from Vern's in the past.
