I was recommended to Neil by a fellow colleague in the hopes to purchase 15-20 custom Family Medicine Residency sweaters/zip-ups. Considering there is no previous template to follow, I worked really hard to explain what my fellow colleagues wanted on their sweaters. I was constantly told, "I am really busy and have a lot of orders coming in." Ok, thats understandable but no-one is asking for a free service, we were willing to pay, and needed the expertise of this company to get the final product. After several back and forth emails, which Neil is prompt on, he told me that I needed to pay extra for his colleague who does the embroidery. If there is a service we are paying for then it should be allowed to adjust and fix what we are trying to attain, a customer should not be afraid or worried to ask if changes need to be made, we are the ones going to be wearing the sweater, and don't want to wear something we don't like, would you say that's a reasonable request? I was told constantly that, "I'm very busy, and have 100's of customer's and can't spend all my time on this." Neil, I wasn't asking for free service, we were willing to pay you between $69.00 - $95.00 a sweater/zip-up, not even including all the other fees you had tact on for us. There was a total of 21 items we were willing to purchase from you, which is roughly $1400.00 - $1900.00 worth of business. Maybe that is too little for your business, and you should of disclosed that earlier and I would of happily looked somewhere else. No customer should be afraid to ask for what they want in a product, if it's too much, please convey that your business is not able to accommodate and allow the customer to look elsewhere. Constantly telling a customer that you are too busy and behaving like you are doing me some favour is not a good look for any established business. I hope the next customer you deal with is treated with respect and allowed to share and express what they want in their final product which they are paying to wear.
