When you walk in to pick up your order it smells like heaven and when you get home it tastes like heaven. Ordered the ribs and brisket and both were sensational.

Without a doubt the best BBQ place in Winnipeg. The ribs and coleslaw were to die for. So glad we finally tried!

Context, we were craving southern BBQ (Franklins specifically). Maybe we got a bad batch, or remembered previous visits to Texas BBQs too well, but we were disappointed w/how dry the meat was, and how weak the smokey flavor was. The Mac and cheese needed more seasoning, had a weird consistency, like the sauce had split. Service was very friendly. Here's a breakdown: - Ribs: 2/5 - dry meat, not very smokey, light on sauce - Brisket: 2/5 - dry, lack of flavor - Curry pierogies: 4/5 rich, flavorful. if you like yellow curry you'll probably like these. Good esp. considering coming from a bbq place! - Mac n cheese: 1/5 dairy split/weird consistency and low on flavor, also had the highest expectations for this Fries: Costco fries, 2/5 - Icelandic dessert, 2/5, overly rich, not really compelling flavor, maybe just not for us If you're going into this nostalgic about BBQ like Terry Blacks or Franklin's it might not satisfy.
