Salisbury House (King Edward Street & Bannister Road)

Basically a hole in the wall but it's a great little spot. Little grocery/restaurant. You order at the window when you walk in and walk through the market to the dining area where the walls are covered in Sals nostalgia. I got the breakfast sausage sandwich with hashbrown and couldn't be happier with it. My girlfriend got the kickin chicken sandwich with fries. The sauce on the breakfast sandwich was great and the chicken sandwich was one of the best that I was able to have a sample of! Not gunna break the bank eating here and service was great. Gunna go here again soon! I'll get some pictures next time too!

Picked up a roast beef dinner. Previous 4 in past 2 years were great. This time no Au Jus sauce inside foil roast container. Called Customer Service,she didn't apologize said maybe staff didn't want to make a mess ??? New staff?? Pleasant Market cashier always reminds me to not tip container. To prevent spilling of Au Jus sauce. ---------- Sals - thank you for the speedy reply. I will email. Have a good weekend.

There's a very limited menu of nips with fries or onion rings, if you're looking to eat here. There is a small eating area at the back of the store front but this is not like your typical Sal's location. The market sells different pre-made dishes (pulled pork, roast beef etc.) & has quite a large selection of loose leaf teas. FYI, Nip was F'N Amazing as usual!!
