We recently visited this store and found the clerks customer service to be exceptional. Same greeted us with a smile, helped us promptly and engaged us in positive conversation while we were in the store. I know that these seem like basic requirements for someone working in retail, but too often, employees are busy on their phones, they dont acknowledge customers when they enter a store, or they clearly couldnt care less about you. When they didnt have the size needed of my chosen shoe in stock, Same quickly located it at another location and reserved it for me so I could easily pick it up. The genuine kindness, courtesy and assistance that he provided made our shopping experience at this location outstanding.

I Have been to the store today and the way that sales guy approached me was so rude, which led me to leave the place without making any purchase. It was really disappointing and they should work on it.

The young male presenting worker in the store borderline harassed me when I came into the store yesterday. I was on the phone and made it clear that I was on the phone and not interested in talking to the worker. He said "ok, I'll wait" then proceeded to stand about a foot behind me, ignoring my closed off body language and my repeated attempts of explaining I did not want to talk because I was on the phone. As I half turned to walk down the side of the store and browse the shoes on the wall, he stepped directly in front of me, got in my face, and asked if I needed a shoe size. I again explained I was on the phone and did not require his help or want to talk. He then said "I'm just doing my job", and continued to try to justify his actions. At that point I was incredibly frustrated that my personal space and clear requests werent being respected, as well as having a hard time hearing the person I was on the phone with, and left the store. I've never been treated this way in a store before while being on the phone. Although on its own it's not a horrible thing, I can think of countless humans & communities of people that would find this behavior incredibly traumatizing, triggering, or overstimulating. Someone who's neurodivergent & can't talk to people while in public because it's sensory overload, someone who has ptsd from being harassed or stalked, or someone who has just been generally traumatized by a male presenting person, would all have found this behavior extremely concerning, triggering, and frankly, unsafe. The employees tone of voice and body language were aggressive and harsh, and I did not feel like my safety, shopping preferences, or personal space was respected in that store. I will not be returning. If you are easily overstimulated or have trauma related to harassment, assault, your consent not being honored, etc, I would highly recommend you avoid this store, and I would highly recommend the store owner talk to this employee about the way he approaches and disrespects customers personal space & clear messages to please leave them alone. I am allowed to just browse in a store without having a 5 minute conversation with an employee. Especially when ive made it clear i dont want to talk and am on the phone with someone else. I will ask for a shoe size if i want to try something on. I don't know how this marketing tactic would ever lead to sales or a person wanting to return to that establishment.
