        Amazing staff; supportive and understanding. Support groups have also helped. For so many years I felt lost and misunderstood... the trauma I carried was overwhelming. Until I walked through the doors at Heartwood Healing Center. My healing journey is headed in the right direction.

        I was a client of the agency many years ago. It was here that I first experienced what safety, hope,.and trust felt like. I also began to discover and work with memories of trauma. It was here where I learned to practice self reflection and self trust as well as self compassion. Most importantly however I learned that there is life after trauma. I am very grateful to the agency for the.help they.provided and I would definitely recommend them to any woman who finds herself in need of their services.
