        Such a nice clean vibe, the food was amazing, service was fast. Definitely my new sushi spot this year!

        We got takeout from Sushi Academy for dinner on a Saturday night. Picked an assortment of rolls, as we'd never eaten here before. While the flavours were good, the rice was really not good. The rice texture was gloopy and mushy, like it was overcooked and/or overworked with no definition to the individual grains. The rice was underseasoned and bland. All the fish was good, and the rolls were a good size for the price, but the rice was distractingly bad and made it hard to enjoy anything else. Maybe this was an off night for them, but I'm pretty deterred by the experience.
