I tried Bar Burrito in Fort Richmond for the first time. On first appearance the look is clean and friendly. The layout and food prep looks like a clone of a Qudoba, but very simplified. The menu is slim with a rather non-mexican array of choices. I ordered a pork burrito. The basic burrito is offered with a flavored rice, choice of black or pinto beans, a protein plus a few added condiments. This choices is slim. Salsa was a pried version of a Pico salsa. No mild, medium or hot choices. The most Mexican flavor was the cilantro. My pork tasted more like a BBQ pork dish, then Mexican. I ordered the"mild chicken" for my wife. She couldn't eat it as it was dry and had no chicken flavour at all. While the server was pleasant and courteous, the food was not at all what I expected. I give the a 3 out of 5 rating. Mostly because the portions were ample but it lacked any resemblance to Mexican food. Hope it gets better.

Very friendly and efficient staff. The food is tasty for a quick meal, not too oily or salty and the portions are filling. Nice variety of menu items. Restaurant was clean.
