        Yikes. Had visitors from Quebec. They had heard of it. Went on a Saturday afternoon at 1 pm. Hardly a soul there except for employees. Over 2 miles or maybe kilometres of ramps with virtually nothing to see. A big empty space. Wed been touring around the city and our visitors were aghast at how bad our roads are. They commented on the number of beggars on the boulevards and the homeless. They wondered why we would spend $280 million dollars on this monstrosity while not doing more for the poor and more to maintain our infrastructure. To add insult to injury, a small army of people were setting up for a dinner to acknowledge donors. It was opulent. Flower arrangements. Fancy gold cutlery et cetera. I guess with so few paying visitors it takes a lot of public money and donations to pay the staff and bills.
