    Jack, the owner is a pleasure to deal with. I have used his service a couple times now, I feel I was treated well, he was very honest and provided me with only what he felt was needed for the repair of my vacuum. I appreciate him coming out within a day or two of my call. He repaired my older central vac and it works like new. I appreciate him not trying to up sell and being honest with what would be more cost effective in my situation. Would definitely recommend Tache Vacuum, and will use his service again.

    I live in Lorette and Jack (owner) came out to service my 10+ year old Kenmore central vacuum that stopped working. He was knowledgable and gave us clear quotes for repair, determining it was the motor that died. He replaced the motor, however after 10 minutes of using it post-repair it died again. We texted Jack who determined it was the circuit board. He was apologetic and offered a repair at cost without charging labour. Jack was accomodating, and easy to communicate with. He never pushed unecessary repairs/replacements on us. I would absolutely go to Tache Vacuum again and it's convenient he will come out of town to do servicing which can be hard to find for appliances.

    I recently dropped off a portable upholstery and carpet cleaning machine for repair due to no suction. I was told by owner it could be a week till he could look at it and it would cost $59.95 plus taxes to do assessment. After paying for the assessment and on my way home I started thinking that was pretty costly and if parts were needed it could be even more expensive. Considering I priced same machine at Cdn Tire for just over $100 new. I called the owner back an hour later and told him not to fix the machine and I would be by the next day to pick it up. When I came back the next day to pick up my machine he said he looked at the machine the night prior said it was fine and no problem with suction. He took me in the back shop with the machine to show me. I was kind of taken back because I thought I told him not to fix it yet he went ahead and looked at the machine anyway after telling me he would not be able to look at it for a week earlier on in the day. I was pleased to hear that there was nothing wrong with the machine seeing it had only been used twice since we bought it 2 years ago and was off warranty. When I asked the owner for my refund seeing there was nothing wrong with the machine he said because he spent time working on my machine he was charging me the cost of the assessment which was $59.95 plus taxes. I was not happy especially when he was told not to fix it in the first place. Then to try and satisfy me on my way out he gave me a $19 bottle of carpet cleaner big woop! I really feel I was taken advantage of by the owner and definitely will not be going back there again for any repair work and will not be recommending this company to any friends or family.

    I am a senior with a physical disability I drove quite a way from home Went to ask about a charging cord for my hand vac. which arrived the day before. Clerk asked where I bought it and I said Amazon. Instead of helping me with a charging cord which I would have paid for, he said Ship it back to Amazon What hardship would it have been to get out a cord and help me? He didn't even take the vac out of my hand and said that by the time he got a tech to look at it..etc. etc. Ship it back to Amazon I was willing to pay for the service and purchase another vac at this establishment! We needed another vac downstairs Forget it. This is why people don't shop local !!!!!! Amazon couldn't have been more accomodating. This is not the first time this type of situation has ocurred locally. Amazon will be my GO TO store from now on

    Brutal experience. I paid this business a total of $215, had to visit the business 3 different times, and my central vac still doesnt even work properly. On my third and final visit I had the displeasure of meeting the owner, Jack. When I explained my frustration at the problem not being fixed after paying them, and him telling me there was nothing more that could be done because he couldnt recreate the problem at the shop, he actually ended up yelling at me in front of his employees as well as another customer. He the physically grabbed my central Vac hose when I was trying to leave, telling ME that I was being rude!! He didnt listen to me, and was super disrespectful. I have NEVER had such poor customer service in my life. Such poor business etiquette as well as just not a good human being. Will not be returning. Save your money - go elsewhere.
