While the pricing was too high, it was my only option. So that aside it is what it is. The vehicle itself needed an alignment so bad my arm is sore from Calgary to Winnipeg holding it on the road lol.
Now... that wouldn't be so bad. What really was frustrating was the fact that 5540 Portage Ave is a closed building. Chains on all 3 doors. Called the local number. No answer. Called 1800 uhauls number spoke and explained the situation. She called the number apparently spoke w someone and then told me they are there. I said no one is in this building I'm outside and it's locked up. She basically wrote me off and said she'd text the number to call after refusing to have them call me. We'll low and behold same phone I called. Called right away and no answer again. Had t
o contact the 1800 again. Explained it all and said either I leave the keys on the truck or you guys pick em up. This woman was much more easier. She explained there was a drop box but there wasn't. I walked around the building again. I confirm the address, and all was what it was. An abandoned building. Which I said. Then as we drove off we caught a sign in a building opposite (different) address amd that was were we needed to go. No one would see this and all the trucks are at the address we were at.
Soooo no communication and it was frustrating.
Be nice if they could relay or update their Addy.
