I've ordered two beaver throws separately. The first one was a bit late, but I was very happy with the product. Maybe a little loose batting, but overall I was 5 star happy with it. They are a little less expensive than you can find elsewhere, so I can get past minor issues. With the second one, which I ordered a year later after receiving a 'special offer' e-mail, there is significant loose batting causing it to be quite lumpy. I contacted FurSource twice, but other than instructing me to 'shake it' (which I'd already tried, but tried again), they were unwilling to take any action to correct the problem. So, now I also have a quite plush but lumpy throw. It just seems like they could have allowed a return, repair, and sent back a nice beaver throw.

I am posting the same review I tried post on their site. They considered the review an equiry and not a review. Makes me wonder whether they are manipulating reviews and posting only positive reviews. Until my last purchase I was very pleased buying from them. Quality was good up to that point. Here is the review I submitted. I was surprised with my last purchase. Not as nice as the previous three beaver skins I bought from this site one year ago. Not as plush or heavy. Colour not the rich dark brown of previous purchase, and faded at corners. And looks like they were skinned but no effort was taken to trim the edges nicely. Will do so myself. Disappointed though. Will not be shopping here again. Consistent delivery of quality is paramount to online business success. It is a matter of trust. I have to add that they immediately agreed to replace them after reading my review, and select skins more to my taste. Excellent after sales service response. I am not going to bother. They will still serve my purposes. I would like to know why the quality was not consistently the same.
