As a participant of the "Expert Musher Adventurer" package, I had high expectations. Previously I have mushed dogs in Bettles, AK and Maine. Although I knew an above average amount about dogs and mushing, I was in for a major boost in knowledge and skill as an amateur musher. You'd expect the owner/operator Diane LeClerc to be a great font of knowledge about dogs, but what surprised me was her command of bush craft. In addition, she's a patient, well spoken teacher. For the beginner, this is a great way to safely experience the outdoors either riding in, or to drive your own sled. For me, there's nothing like the exhilaration of whooshing along in winter wonderland scenery being quietly propelled by dog power and Chien Aventures is the way to go!
