        Working with Kent Homes via Lakewood has been a nightmare. We contracted in November 2020 and the point of the contract was to lock in a price. In May 2021 we are told that a commodity surcharge was going to be applied and it would be calculated 10 weeks before delivery. We would not agree to pay the surcharge and thus Kent has refused to build the home for Lakewood. We are now out a huge amount of money and have proceeded with legal action. STAY AWAY from this company.
