I have had some less than stellar experiences at this store which is very disappointing because I love their adventure store on Queen Street and the service is excellent there. I purchased a gravel bike here in February or March and all of the staff I spoke to except for one were quite condescending and dismissive. Throughout the process staff spoke directly to my boyfriend and barely made eye contact with me even though I was the one purchasing the bike and by boyfriend reminded the sales associate of that fact. A staff member also told me that I would receive a percentage off of biking accessories in the future because I purchased my bike there. Last week when I visited this location I was told that was only for a limited time. This was not communicated to me the first time. I was hoping that the poor service while purchasing my bike was just fluke or an off day but I have repeatedly experienced lackluster, dismissive service this location. My female friends have had similar experiences while my male friends have not. I would love to see this store become a more inclusive and accessible place for everyone.
