I Got the sloppy Joe casserole and the chicken ranch casserole. Do not put yourself through this pain. The sloppy Joe casserole said it was made with bow tie noodles. That was a blatant lie as it was made with macaroni noodles. The casserole was tasteless, wet, and tasted like goo lash gone wrong Secondly, the chicken ranch casserole disappointed even more. The cheese and potatoes were mediocre as if youd find them at a hotel buffet. The chicken was drier than the Sahara desert and so chewy to the point that it made your jaw sore after one piece.

Mary was incredibly attentive to what we were wanting. She is an absolute joy to work with and really listens to what her customers are looking for. And she catered for my girlfriend and I while we were having friends over and it was phenomenal! 10/10 I will definitely use her again in the future!

I've tried a few of Chef Mary's meals, and they are fantastic! Her lasagna is so tasty, you can't help but eat more than you can. The pulled pork is the best pulled pork I've ever had. Don't get me started on her mashed potatoes! They're even better than momma makes ( don't tell my mom I said that). Will definitely have food from here again!

As a foodie and lover of the industry, Ive had the pleasure of tasting many gastronomic masterpieces over the years. I was fortunate enough to taste some of Comfort Caterings delicious meals and I was blown away with the quality, freshness, and taste! Firstly, the price is very competitive considering the quality and serving size of the meals. Most other places will run you at least $30 or more for a family platter. For a serving of 4-6 people, you pay under $30 and during these hard economic times, getting value for money is important. Next, Chef Mary puts love and care in all the dishes that she creates. Honestly, the BBQ pork and baked potatoes felt like a hug, which stays true to the comfort in the business name. Heating the dish in the oven filled the home with aromas that left everyone salivating and eager to dig in. The potatoes were soft, fluffy, yet also creamy and rich, which paired extremely well with the sweet and tangy sauce of the pulled pork. I was able to serve 4 adults for dinner and have enough left over for the next day. The only reason it didnt last 2 days is because I ate the rest for breakfast, lunch, and then dinner. I couldnt get enough! All the ingredients are fresh and a lot of attention is given to their preparation. If you are looking to feed your family or guests with a well-balanced, tasty, and nutritious meal, Comfort Catering delivers. When doing a food review, one has to approach it with honesty, accuracy, and good faith. It also helps if you are the one actually tasting the food, and preferably reviewing while sober, to ensure a fair critique of the dish. Which is why one of these reviews was baffling to me as they inaccurately described the two dishes. Take the sloppy joe pasta for instance, which is a favourite with the kids; the tomato sauce is perfectly balanced with lots of meat and always with elbow macaroni (not bowtie pasta as this reviewer complained about). Its also written on the menu online. My suggestion is, if they have such a penchant for bow-tie pasta, they should try the mac and cheese dish. That is surely to hit the right spot. Thank you Chef Mary for sharing your culinary passion and serving your community with care and dedication. Please consider entering your BBQ pork in a competition similar to RibFest and other festivals. You have a good chance of bringing home the gold!
