I attended a few of Sams classes including a Valentines heels class. She offers such a welcoming a judgement free zone, making you feel comfortable to push your comfort zone and express yourself

I love taking dance classes with Sam! She is highly experienced in the art of movement through things like dance and Pilates, and she is very understanding of each individual's needs, making adjustments throughout class. Something I've learned through Embodied Heeling especially, is that improving my skill in dance comes second to enjoying the movement itself. There is something empowering about that, and I will always recommend Sam and Embodied Heeling to anyone looking for new movement classes!

I have been taking many different movement based classes with Sam since moving back to Fredericton in 2021 and there is a reason I still am almost 2 years later. Sam is so passionate about what she does and so knowledgeable. Her Pilates classes are my absolute favourite, they are challenging but she always provides modifications if needed. She also explains the purpose of each move and relates it to the muscle groups which I love. It helps me understand and do the move properly. Everyone should take a class with Sam, she is warm and genuine. A true asset to the Fredericton community.

Sams classes are so welcoming. She takes the pressure off of being perfect and instead focuses on helping you feel good, safe, and confident in your body in whatever way that means to you. Highly recommend.

Embodied Heeling is such a unique and safe space for dancing! It's a welcoming environment where you can work on whatever it is your heart desires on your individual dance journey, whether it be safety within your own mind and body, working on your relationship with yourself, growing your self-esteem, improving your dancing technique and skill, finding community, or simply (and importantly) getting the chance to play! Sam's authenticity in her dance journey allows dancers to embrace their authenticity as well. It's always emphasized that we are all on our own journey, not to compare ourselves to one another, and to embrace how the moves look and feel differently on our own bodies. SO good for the confidence! So thankful.
