Deluxe has been in New Brunswick for decades, with most locations in the Moncton area. This is Fredericton's only Deluxe restaurant. They use fresh-cut fries, and haddock for their fish and chips. They also have chicken strips, other seafood, burgers, etc. Deluxe has a system of ordering that looks chaotic sometimes, but the orders are always right and efficient. I have been a fan of Deluxe since my first visit to the St. George St. location in Moncton in 1975. The service is fast, the food hot, and there are condiments choices like tartar sauce, vinegar, ketchup, etc. A two-piece fish and chips would likely satisfy almost any appetite, served on a paper-based cardboard plate with plastic utensils. The food is double- and triple-bagged as necessary for transport. Prices have gone up in recent years, but I think they still track evenly with the rest of the marketplace.
