Teavana

Shame the chain is going to close, but with the company's overly-pushy sales tactic, it was a long time coming. Admittedly, Teavana did turn me into a tea lover and I did enjoy some of their products, but I've only stepped foot in there once since David's Tea opened (and I quickly regretted that visit, as I had done so forgetting how dreadful it is to deal with the sales people who are trained to be extremely pushy). It's unfortunate, I would have liked to shop at Teavana, but the overly pushy sales tactics has always made shopping at any Teavana location I've been to a dreadful customer experience. When the thought of shopping for tea, a calming beverage, I should not be internally stressing out at the thought of "what are they going to push on me today? Are they going to fill the bag to the very top and try to get me to pay $180 for tea again, even after I told them exactly how much I wanted was much less than that?"

Prices are kinda high, but the product is good. They will forcefully try to upsell you on everything you buy, trying to get you to buy a larger amount, or a device to go with what you already bought.

Great tea selection. They seem not to get many of the rarer varieties in.
