We had an old shingle roof on our cabin that needed to be replaced. We decided on a metal roof. The understanding was that the old shingles were to be removed and if any rotten wood to be replaced then the new roof installed. Instead, none of the shingles were removed nor was any of the rotten wood replaced. I was on the roof 6 months ago and know that there was rotten wood. We also had 2 other companies that came to look at the roof and they said the same thing. So this company, did not remove any of the shingles, nor did they replace any of the rotten wood. Also on one end at the bottom of the peak, is a gap that the wind can come up and possibly lift the roofing material off. I asked him to repair that and he refused to do so. So I asked him to make a decision to repair it right or not to repair it and that if he decides not to repair it, then we will not pay the remainder of the balance because we will need to have someone else come fix it. So he chose not to fix it. He did not do a satisfactory job Service: Remodeling
