I just stayed here, on my visit to Hopewell Rocks, and it was a very nice stay. I arrived at dusk, and missed the driveway, but was given very friendly directions and found the B&B. I have some visual & physical challenges, but have developed ways overcome them, or work around them. So,I look at the world with that in mind. Getting to the entrance was the biggest challenge. You have to walk around the main house down a hill to get to the door of where you'll stay. The cobble stone path was difficult for me after several hours driving, but moving to the grass was no problem. A walker or wheelchair, would definitely be a problem. Inside a walker could manage and possible a smaller wheelchair, if you know how to handle it. The "apartment" is well set up, with a full kitchen, bedroom with a sofa & TV. The bathroom is easily large enough for 2 to get ready. FYI: Just pull the bathroom blind down, there is no cords. The hallway, you'll cross between the bedroom/lounge and the kitchen/bathroom has a motion sensor light, which was nice, since you don't have to find light switches. There was no changes in flooring, that I can remember; I have a lazy leg when I'm tired, so take notice of potential trip hazards. For breakfast, the fridge & cupboards are stocked with standard breakfast foods, and you get your own breakfast. I liked this because I could do it in my nightwear, while I puttered sorting out my stuff. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom well set up, with a comfortable sized shower. And the breakfast fare, though not unique, was fresh and options were varied. I will definitely stay here when I'm in the area!
