My husband and I stayed here for an early spring getaway. We were in the Robins Nest cabin and we truly could not have been happier. We arrived in the evening after a wonderful drive and friendly greeting from our hosts. We drove up to our cabin and unpacked and finally took in the scenery. The hot tub which we added into our stay was incredible and well worth it. The barbecue was my husbands new best friend for the entirety of our stay and he cooked almost every meal on it. He also tended to the fire during the days and nights. It was a great experience for the both of us as people who love the outdoors, and a couple who wanted de-stress. Every detail that was put into the making and decorating of the cabin did not go unnoticed (the guest log, fresh pressed linens, an oscillating fan, board games, and most of all, the path of rose petals that we added onto our stay!) We could not stop talking about how incredible the whole trip was and since we have returned to normal city life, we wish we were back cuddling in front of the warm fire. We could not recommend this place enough. We will tell everyone we know to stay at Ridgeback Lodge and explore around the Kingston peninsula. We ended up exploring trying to find a grocery store and went on a ferry. It was not what we had expected for the morning, but it was wonderful. We hope to come back to the very same cabin again this year and enjoy Ridgeback Lodge in the summertime. If you are considering staying here, please do!
