The McAdam train station is amazing. Steeped in interesting history and beautifully restored (the first floor), this is one place you need to check out. Each year in November the community hosts a week long "Christmas at the Station" event. Volunteers decorate rooms, Christmas music is piped in and the feeling of good cheer is rich. In the late Spring to late Fall you can stop by for a guided tour with local hosts who really know their stuff. Shout out to Emily and Sam! Also don't miss the beautiful 3 KM trail around the pond out back of the station. It's incredible. It's accessible all year although it can get very muddy in early Spring.
