I stayed for one night and the manager was kind enough to help me settled in at a late night check-in. Honestly one of the most beautiful rooms I've been in (and I've traveled all over Canada and overseas). The simple, modern aesthetics with the brick wall reminded me of old Quebec. Perfectly situated for those who like to take a stroll on Main Street and the Farmer's Market on Saturday. A real gem!

Room was very nice. - Bed was uncomfortable - Shower took 3 minutes to heat up - Curtains did not keep out any sun - Washer door would not unlock after washing clothes, opened eventually, not until next morning I have stayed with Bower before but this was not a great experience for the amount we paid.

Let's start with the positive. The shower is awesome. The accommodation is well located, directly on a street in the city center. The problem is that this street is particularly noisy and would require better soundproof windows. The curtains are also very thin, which makes the room both noisy and very bright in the middle of the night. It's not ideal for people who are light sleepers. We also noticed that the room was missing several things: an ironing board without an iron, there was no soap and only a half-empty bottle of shampoo. Overall, there is room for improvement. Now the main issue is with customer service. I booked my stay via bookingdotcom and the price was lower than what I was charged by Maison vangline. After I went through my bill, I saw that I was charged for a parking spot which was not requested, nor used during my stay since I didn't have a car. I requested a refund for those fees by email, then by phone and by an other email. I never heard back from them.
