We had several items on the to-do list: sinks, faucets, toilets, and fridge water line. Plumber gave a free quote and the ultimate price ended up being less than quoted. We had proposed running a water line through the floor which would have been expensive. Plumber had great idea to use a much closer bathroom water source which saved us many hours in labour. Very satisfied.

My hot water has visible dirt in it (I rent the water heater from NB Power). I called NB Power on Saturday and the customer service agent was super helpful. He said that they would get someone in to replace it right away. Just got a call from their contractor (A.R.E Plumbing) who informed me that dirt in my water is NOT an emergency and so they will not replace my tank until May 26th. So I am supposed to bath, wash dishes, and do laundry in dirty water for 2 MONTHS???? Unacceptable.

NB Power needs to find a new company. 2 days after the the tech was at my house, I tried again to get a hot water tank. The girl on the phone was rude and extremely unhelpful. She didn't even offer a solution to try & help me. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I'm getting my own tank with a different company. Lazy & unprofessional. The tech was at my house for less then 10 mins to tell me he couldn't install the tank without me tearing down a wall. I had a contractor there at the same time, who was willing to help, but the guy had left. Didn't tell me he was leaving, he was just gone.
