A spot that's worth the drive from Fredericton. With a fairly large outdoor patio with some quaint lighting in the evenings, it has quite the modern, comforting feel right from the get go. Inside is bright and spacious and the menu is varied with great visuals on the wall. In one corner, you can see a cute light tree with a wooden high chair and their award for #40 in Canada's top 50 burgers which after eating here, is well deserved. The staff who I think may have been the owner as we were there at an odd hour was very nice and offered table service. I had the maple burger which was only slightly sweet, allowing you to take in all the other flavours from the cheese, bacon and especially the bun. The bun was well buttered and added some much richness to the burger, it was fantastic. It also wasn't monstrous like a lot of food in North America has gotten, especially burgers. It's large enough with the fries and small portion of either chips or red cabbage sauerkraut that you don't need anything else, except for one of the local brews either in a can or on tap. My wife had the kimchi burger which was equally delicious and diverse in flavours. Having kimchi on a burger was a surprisingly delicious addition. I look forward to getting my own the next time we stop by. Kid-friendliness: There is lots of room and a high chair
