My mother has lived in this building for years. Very friendly people and staff, lots of opportunity for residents to socialize out in the garden or just walking through the lobby. Two things you should know though if youre considering buying in here is the building is very old and as a result 1) the water is frequently shut off for repairs or not working. When I visit my mother once or twice a year the water is always off for at least one day during my stay and usually more. I feel for the elderly residents who have to live so many days like this without getting out. Ive been here just 5 days so far and they already had the hot and cold water off for a day. That means no hand washing, toilet flushing, shower, laundry or cooking/cleaning. 2) there are two elevators to serve something like 15 floors of residents but one is usually broken down whenever I visit. On this visit, one is down and I heard it has been down for 3-4 months. That makes getting in and out a nightmare if you live on a high floor and/or cant climb stairs. Not to mention moving furniture in or out.
