        Nice parking area to start off from exploring what Rockwood Park has to offer. There is a nice smooth gravel service road that's easy walking or biking on and great cross country skiing when the snow is down. There are tons of single track hiking/mountain bike trails off the service road leading from this parking area. Get out and enjoy this great piece of nature and be sure to be respectful leaving it better than when you arrived by leaving behind no trace you were there so others can enjoy.

        I ended up coming out of this trail after traversing the Carnage trail from the entrance off Ashburn rd. There is a very nice set of trails for biking in there.
