Emery was an excellent host for the one night my partner and I stayed in September 2021. He's very friendly and had good communication with us prior to our arrival. He has a background in the hospitality industry and enjoys offering suggestions of things to see and do, as well as restaurant recommendations when asked. The room is in the basement of his house, but it does have a few small high windows to let in some natural light. The bed was comfortable and the room has its own full bathroom for your use only. There is a shared fridge in the basement outside of the room. The breakfast was delicious as well. While there are a few restaurants across the street from his place, I don't know how great the location is for ease of access if you do not have a car (we did have a car). Overall I would recommend staying here for the outstanding hospitality.
