A wonderful experience here and a fascinating glimpse at a different age. Mrs. Prayers art is beautiful; the house is a real treasure full of many interesting artifacts, toys and paintings. The tour guide was excellent and gave many wonderful insights into the family. All visitors to St. Andrews should see this beautiful Tudor-style home and learn the history of it and its residents. Highly recommend!

This museum is a must-see in St. Andrews for any art or history lover. We were made to feel wonderfully welcome during our visit, and we found the stories about the home and its various illustrious occupants fascinating, not to mention the incredible artwork on display. I hope to return again soon to spend more time here!

Unfortunately we tried to visit yesterday around 2pm and the gate was padlocked. Website said the museum was currently open and didn't close until 4pm. It did look like a beautiful spot from what we could see beyond the gate. We'll try another time
