A large recall was issued in fall of 2022 for a large number of Polaris snowmobiles. I called the first part of November and was told I was #1 on the list and they would call me as soon as the recall parts arrived. Ive been calling every 3 weeks and keep getting the same answer - parts have not arrived and that they have not yet received any recall kits. I called again the first week of January and spoke to the service manager and she told Me that Polaris corporate told her not to call them any more and they would ship parts when available. I did t believe any of this and finally called Polaris Customer connection myself. They confirmed that coastalnin Carbonear, St. Johns, and clarenville were all sent numerous recall kits. They then said kit was likely that the dealers were catering to customers that bought their units at said dealerships and were likely holding the recall kits for customers that hadnt yet called (due to lack of snow in the area). I highly recommend buying your Polaris sled from another dealer, and definitely dont expect ANY service from these dealers if youre in need of repair on a unit you purchased elsewhere. If I had my time Back I guarantee you Id have a Ski Doo model Sled in my garage and not a Polaris.
