My family and I stayed at Blue Whales cottage in July 2022. It was an absolutely delightful place to stay. The cottage is just a few minutes outside of Bonavista, and is it the only cottage looking directly out over the stunning Spillars Cove. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need. But more importantly? The view! We saw whales from the front lawn, met a local fisherman collecting capelin on the beach, and saw stunning sunsets over the ocean. This location CANNOT be beat. Rent Blue Whales Cottage! You won't be sorry.

(Translated by Google) Our best chance of the trip! When we booked by phone for two nights, we never expected to discover such a magnificent place. This small vacation home is located in front of the magical scenery of Spillars Cove, a few minutes walk from the Klondike Trail and close to Dungeon Provincial Park. The place is very cozy and warm. There are two bedrooms, a large kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, as well as a terrace at the front and a second at the back. Everything is perfect! Having known this place before, we would have planned to stay there much longer than 2 days and even more to enjoy the splendours of the Bonavista peninsula. Lorsque nous avons rserv par tlphone pour deux nuits, nous ne pensions jamais dcouvrir un endroit aussi magnifique. Cette petite maison de vacances est situe devant le dcors frique de la Spillars Cove, quelques minutes pied de la Klondike Trail et proximit du Parc provincial de Dungeon. L'endroit est trs confortable et chaleureux. Il y a deux chambres, une grande cuisine, un salon, une salle de bain, ainsi qu'une terrasse l'avant et une seconde l'arrire. Tout est parfait! Avoir connu cet endroit avant, nous aurions prvu y sjourner beaucoup plus longtemps que 2 jours et encore plus profiter des splendeurs de la pninsule de Bonavista. Stayed here for the night. Wished we had stayed in Bonavista longer! Keith and Maureen were very helpful showing us around and giving wonderful recommendations for the area. The cottage location is beyond spectacular. A direct view of the ocean with two picturesque cliffs. We didn't need to leave the patio to experience the beauty of the coast. The cottage itself is modern, well equipped and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. Very close (minutes drive) to a wonderful trail which has amazing views. A seven minute drive to the local supermarket to stock up. When I return to Newfoundland I will stay in Bonavista and definitely book a longer stay at Blue Whale Cottage!

Great place to stay. Clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular and you can watch whales play from the deck or living room!
