I have been living nearby this gas station for 4 years. The first few months in the neighbourhood I would fill up my 34 US gallon diesel tank on my 1 ton pick up truck there when I needed a fill. They have an RBC ATM machine in the station. On New Years Eve 4 years ago, I popped in to take out some cash. Expecting to take a couple of taxis that evening, I asked the female cashier, a blonde middle-aged woman if she could please change a $20 bill into a $10 and two $5 s. She acted all indignant that they were the only place left open and the owner didnt give a very big float, and it would be out of the question to fulfil my request. I am pretty sure the owner of the station gets some sort of consideration for having the RBC ATM sitting inside the station. So ever since then, although I use the ATM there a fair bit, I have not spent so much as a nickel there. Instead, I have purchased thousands of dollars of diesel fuel and various other sundries at the very nice Irving station with pleasant, accommodating staff that is directly across the street, and I recommend you go to that station as well. Tonight, I went in to use the ATM and it malfunctioned. I asked and apparently, that has been going on occasionally for at least a year nowsame problem. Now I realize that that is mostly on the Bank and the third party that provides/services the machine. It was very inconvenient for me. I did take 30 minutes on the phone when I got home to report it to the bank. I would have expected the owner of the location to have cared enough for his customers or at least his business, to make sure the issue with the ATM was resolved and not left to be an ongoing nuisance for his patrons.
