        Brought my son in, who has Cerebral Palsy, by ambulance. He was seen immediately, chest x-ray within minutes, diagnosed with pneumonia, admitted to ICU within an hour. He was in ICU for 2 weeks and his care was absolutely the best. All of the nursing staff, respiratory, and doctors were amazing.

        On the outside. The emergency department is long and slow ... but on the inside its full of loud nurses laughing giggling sharing food and sharing things on phones. The doctor ... is arguing to me about what the cardiologist is saying. The most unprofessional hospital I've ever been in... I know it's understaffed... but jeewhiz people are sick. The least a staff can do is tone down their voices and quit the giggling. Nothing says zero regard for a patience privacy like, being shoved in the hall on a stretcher ... and having to tell all your personal details to a doctor.. while other patience stand around looking at ya. If you are visiting newfoundland and get sick... get home as fast as you can... this province is not the place for a sick peraon
