Not a great experience. First of all I felt rushed to arrive at the bed and breakfast, I was called multiple times to see what time I would be arriving even though I had let the owner know we would be getting in late as we were picking up a family member from the airport. We finally got there after a long and winding road in the middle of nowhere. The house was extremely hot and stuffy with no windows left open and not a fan in sight. I had to call to try and track one down. We were then called by the owner to see what time we wanted breakfast we had spent the day driving and planned to sleep in a bit so asked if 10 was fine, she reluctantly said that it was a bit late so I just scrapped the idea all together. We finally settled to sleep and had the door to the living room and our bedroom closed and locked. When I woke up the next morning we had noticed the door was opened and we had heard someone come in early that morning, however there was no one else staying there. I can only suspect it was the owner. The next morning my partner and I had a cold shower as the hot water boiler had not been turned on. In retrospect, I feel like we should have been given a discount considering the issues we had however we paid the fee for the night and went on our way. Will not be back and I dont see myself recommending the place to anyone.

The stay was nice and quiet but a little off the beaten path and it backs onto the ocean. We stayed here after we got off the ferry and also on our way back to the ferry. Margo was very nice and accommodating to us. The B&B is a 153km from the Ferry so make sure you have gassed up before getting on the ferry although there is a gas station just after the cut-off to the B&B you don't want to run out because until you get to St. John's gas stations are few and far between. And no worries about missing the ferry when heading back Margo was in bright and early to make breakfast for us so that we would not miss the ferry back to NS. Overall we would stay here again when we come back again.
