A neat historic site with beautiful view overlooking Placentia. Noticed visitors entering the site without paying. Without paying the entry fee of almost $4, you can view historic remnants without the background story and information. When you pay the entry fee, you can borrow a headset that will guide you through what the remnants mean. Be sure to ask for a headset if you pay the fee, as the worker did not offer us headsets after paying and we didn't understand anything we were looking at until we realized there were pictures of headsets on the plaques. The site and audio tour was a little short. There's a beautiful gift shop on site and they offer scavenger hunts, picnics and more.
