Very disappointed in Grainger Industrial Mount Pearl. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not recommended at all and here is why: In early April 2020, I ordered boxes of N95 masks online @ $1.875 each as I was not in a hurry for them and it would be between 2-4 weeks for delivery. Near the end of April 2021 I was contacted by an employee at the Mount Pearl store who advised the items were in. The employee said the store would hold onto them until I could get in as I work on an Island in emergency services and can't get to Mount Pearl frequently. I was unable to get in until today. Upon attending Grainger Ind. in Mount Pearl I was advised they had cancelled and returned my order so the could supply another customer's order. Neither the Mount Pearl store nor Grainger Industrial had ever communicated with me about the risk of the order being cancelled or the items were being taken to give another customer if I could not get in. I could have gotten someone to pickup them up for me, if I had been advised there was an issue. I then contacted Grainger Industrial call center to re-order the items. They now claim the product I ordered is no longer available "due to the pandemic" and suggested a smaller quantity of a similar replacement item at a cost of $4.484 each, which is a 239% increase in one month. I declined this attempt at price gouging as I can buy the same 3M brand N95 masks I ordered at Canadian Tire and Home Hardware for less money. I had then asked them to refund the money charged to my credit card on the day I placed the order, since I was advised they had already cancelled my order by their store employee. The call center employee claimed they will refund the money when the order is not processed. To date they still have not refunded the money charged to my credit card to verify it was valid. During my call, the call centre employee was also rude, was talking over me and was not allowing me to finish my sentence. When I asked him to let me finish my sentence he hung up on me. This company is not recommended at all!
