We had the pleasure of spending a week with Kristen, Robbie and our guide Gabby. We had so much fun, so many laughs and the best views. We also had to ride out Hurricane Fiona. We were well taken care of , they made sure we had everything we could possibly need, and they were close by if required. Thankfully, everything worked out for Norris Point. This part of the world is so special. You can tell from the care, passion and commitment that the whole team at Gros Morne Adventures has, that they love it, and want you to love it as much as they do.

My friend and I enjoyed an informative and interesting afternoon on the Indigenous tour-Discover Mekapisk in Norris Bay. Our Guides Keith and Jamie helped you to imagine what life looked like before the arrival of Europeans and what changed once these worlds met. So much of what I have learned in my schooling was history told through the eyes of a European. Keith helps you to take a look around you and see what the indigenous people saw in this land. We also talked about what you could make from the surrounding resources, you could try, we tried out some games and examined the use of items that would be available and you could make fire using flint, you could participate in cooking bannock and you got to try some fish and moose meat. As an extra treat there was a tuna that kept swimming around the area. Despite the weather our guides worked around it. Incredible afternoon that many ages and abilities could enjoy.
