My family and I enjoyed a quick lunch. I ordered the seafood chowder which went down nicely (it could've used a bit more salt). I also had a delicious cup of Java Jack's coffee. I bought some artwork, cookie mix and a jar of locally made jam. The owner was there for lunch and introduced herself. We returned later that day for another cup of coffee.

Busy place, book a table or show up right at opening. It was amazing! I mean, we paid a lot, but it was extremely memorable. My daughter devoured her custom buttered noodles, haha. Cute place. Had the lobster pasta dish, wow there was a lot of lobster in it.

Lovely little spot with a view of the water. They had quite a range of options, with something for everyone, and very yummy/well presented food at that! I also love a place that has local art on display, so I was able to get a sense of what makes Rocky Harbour unique.

We went there for lunch as our first meal in Newfoundland and got really disappointed. The food portion was small; half of mussels had no meat in; chowder tasted quite watery and had only a few tiny pieces of fish in. The waitress had a very cold face and didnt even look at us directly. It made me feel they dont care about their business at all.

Very over priced. Food was mediocre my dish came with rice that was very wet with no seasoning (flavorless). Server had no interest in being. Very disappointing.
