What a hidden gem! Clean, spacious and great views of the harbour - in fact, positioned right above the picturesque Rose Blanche harbour. We stayed one night but should have stayed much longer. The area is full of rugged beauty with lots of hiking opportunities (Barachois Falls walk is beautiful), an excellent lighthouse to tour and surroundings steeped in Newfoundland culture. The nearby resettled community of Petites has what is considered to be one of the oldest surviving wooden churches in Newfoundland. The RoseSea B&B provides excellent meals as well. Nice choices for breakfast - we had the fruit crepes - very good. Lynn, the owner/operator also offers a supper for a reasonable price. Her cod was delicately cooked and was the feature of a tasty, satisfying meal, starting with soup and ending with dessert. A must stay! We'll be back and for longer, next time.
