        Rooms: Lots of space, everything I needed. Food & drinks: Loved the option to be able to cook my own food. Limited restaurant options in small towns like this for anyone eating a specific diet.

        Great place to stay, rooms are new and clean, the kitchen has all you need to cook, and the owner is very nice. Will stay here again next time we are in the area.

        Excellent place, friendly owner, and extra helpful. Would recommend! After writing this review Newfoundland entered a state of emergency due to forest fires. Highway was closed and we were stranded. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had food gas and a place to stay. This is not your typical Motel. This place is a Newfoundland gem. Thank you to the Maddox Motel for the extremely kind and friendly hospitality.
